Ours
What we own
The app software, source code, design, layout, icons, illustrations, written copy, and the RecipeList AI name and logo belong to DealRoom AI Pty Ltd or are used under licence. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, republish, or distribute any of it without written permission, beyond the personal use the app is built for.
Yours
Content you create
Recipes, notes, and photos you add to the app remain yours. By adding content you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and process it for the purpose of running the app and providing the service to you — for example, syncing your recipes between your devices, or generating suggestions from them. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods on the account deletion page.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not add content you copied from a cookbook, website, or another app unless you have permission or the use is otherwise lawful.
A note on recipes
What copyright covers in a recipe
A bare list of ingredients and basic instructions is generally treated as a statement of fact or a method, which copyright does not protect. The expression around it does: the written narrative, headnotes, personal commentary, photography, and the arrangement of a collection. RecipeList AI is built for keeping and adapting recipes for your own cooking, not for reproducing someone else's published writing.
AI-generated content
Suggestions produced by the app
RecipeList AI generates recipes and suggestions using automated systems. These outputs may resemble existing recipes and may be inaccurate. We make no claim of ownership over the outputs you generate, and we make no warranty that any output is original, correct, or safe to rely on. Check ingredients, quantities, cooking temperatures, and allergen information before you cook or serve food.
Takedown
Report infringing content
If you believe material in RecipeList AI infringes your copyright, email us and we will investigate and remove infringing material where the complaint is valid.
